Nadir Metal Rafineri
In 1967, Nadir Tütüncü established his workshop within an area of 150 m2 to recycle jeweler dross. Beginning from 1975, he started precious metal refining for the market and the workshop increased in size limited to this field. In 1985, he established Nadir Trading and began to trade precious metals in Grand Bazaar. Then, Nadir Metal Rafineri San. ve Tic. Ltd. was established in 1993. Rapid increase in demand has forced the company on capacity investment. Thus, the first gold refinery in Turkey was built on the country’s land.

Nadir Metal Refinery has been recognized as an international member of the Gold Exchange.
SBMA – Singapore Bullion Market Association
The Singapore Bullion Market Association (SBMA) is a non-profit organization comprising bullion dealers, exchanges, refineries, precious metals traders, and security and logistics companies.
AMD – Turkish Gold Miners Association
It is an association established to conduct research on the use of the best known methods and technologies for the exploration of precious metal reserves in Turkey, the extraction of the found reserves, their operation, enrichment, refining and processing.
In 2001, Nadir Family became the sole shareholder of the company which continued its operations under the name of Nadir Metal Rafineri San. ve Tic. Ltd. After the accretion agreement in 2001, all the infrastructural investments were completed within a year.
In 2006, Nadir became a joint stock company with its new title: Nadir Metal Rafineri San ve Tic. A.Ş.
The company is accredited by Borsa Istanbul (BIST) in 2008 for gold and silver, by London Good Delivery Association (LBMA) in 2011 for gold, as the first company in Turkey, in 2012 for silver as the only company in Turkey, as foreign member at Sinagpore Bullion Market Association (SBMA) in 2016, as member at Shanghai International Gold Exchange and Approved Brand at COMEX in 2020.
Today, along with refining, waste recycling, dross and laboratory services, Nadir Metal produces gold and silver, trades gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium. In addition to these, “Nadir Metal” and “Nadir Gold” branded small bars of gold and silver products and exclusive collections are produced.
