ASEAN Gems and Jewelery Association Conference 2019 (AGJA)

The event, which took place on 8-12 October 2019, was attended by ASEAN member countries and sectoral dialogue partners, where more than twenty countries, the most important exporters and the Presidents of the Jewelers Exporters’ Association were hosted by Nadir Metal Refinery as both participant and main sponsor.

As the main sponsor of the event, Nadir Metal Refinery participated in many activities within the scope of “ASEAN Gems & Jewelery Association Conference 2019 (AGJA)” hosted by the Jewelers Exporters’ Association. At the Hyatt Regency Ataköy hotel where the second day of the event and the conference was held, discussion panels were organized and panel participants tried to convey the necessary informations about the sector to the participants with the necessary information and presentations. In the ongoing program, while the information was being given about gold trade in the World and in our country by Nadir Metal Rafineri’s authorized persons. At the same time, it was tried to contribute to the conference by informing about national and international compliance issues in gold trade and its effects on the jewelery sector. The post-conference program continued with a gala dinner to strengthen the dialogue between the participants.

On the last day of the event, Nadir Metal Rafineri which is an accredited refinery of London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), Dubai Multi-Commodity Market (DMCC) and Borsa İstanbul (BIST), was visited by all participants and was one of the most requested activities. The event program was completed by providing detailed information about precious metal refining and sales processes with their details and visuals to the valuable guests who visited the refinery by the experts of the leading companies of the sector. After the visit, 1 ounce silver products produced by Nadir Metal Refinery specially for ASEAN conference were presented to the valuable guests who made the visit to show the meaning and importance of the conference and also for the sake of souvenir.
